The South Florida Youth Symphony prides itself in the fine community performances given by the talented students of every class and orchestra level. Sponsors, parents, teachers and even students realize the importance and pride of these events.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT EVERY STUDENT BE AT EVERY PERFORMANCE..NOT ONE SEAT IS UNIMPORTANT ! Put the Calendar in a priority spot and remember that your seat, your part, your participation in MANDATORY. You could lose your seat or your membership by not attending.
PLAN AHEAD
If your family needs to be out of town or you are ill, please call ahead of rehearsal/concert time to Mrs. Hahn at 305-238-2729 or cell 305-962-2079, to alert the teachers. These are the only excuses allowed.
Student MUST have a letter from a school director one week in advance of our event ,to be excused for a school conflicting event.
A total of 3 rehearsal absences may result in loss of seat, unexcused ones may mean your dismissal..we can not put on performances with students who don’t attend.
